Skydive Coastal California is a member of the United States Parachute Association. This is a volunteer membership for skydiving companies that want to improve there safety and skill level. Our dropzone has a USPA Safety and Training Advisor on staff. This gives us an excellent opportunity to provide a safe and exciting skydiving atmosphere.
Tandem skydiving is regulated by the FAA just like the planes that fly into Detroit Metro. We follow all Federal Aviation Regulations regarding tandem jumping and flying and you will be able to relax and enjoy your jump based on the safety we provide.
Skydive Coastal California uses only RVT Video Technology for its video service. It provides a great video service that records your scenic flight, your exit from the aircraft, your freefall at 120 mph, the parachute opening above your head, you steering the parachute, and your landing. It is also the safest form of video you can get. The best and the safest is what we offer.
Skydive Coastal California uses Dual Hawk Strong Parachute Systems made by Strong Enterprises. Ted Strong was the original inventor of the tandem system and he continues to manufacture and inspect the tandem systems and train instructor/examiners. You will find that Strong Enterprises gives more attention to safety than anyone in the industry.
